I like this old picture and a lot of the other old pictures on here too and that's the reason this thing hasn't completely gone to seed, expired and returned to earth to be reabsorbed    or maybe it's only because those sonsabitches in the billing department have my credit card on file.  It feels like it's hanging on    not for the promise of the future    but   out of respect for the past or at least until I can save it all on an external hard drive and then drop it in a toilet someplace. In the mean time please poach all your favorite photos and make photo mugs for your mother in law with them because I believe this site will be going down in 2014.

more on this soon. Good news. But in any case make some photo mugs in the mean time. The shot 37 likes is rather low res, very few pixels, which would make a great photo mug for hazy early morning coffee in the this wonderful wonderful NorthWest. word

I'd like to extend my gratitude to the pilderwasser collective. since google took my reader away, I don't get to see these posts until I remember to type "pil" into my browser and read in reverse chronology but I sure am thankful for the opportunity when I do get around to it. Thank you to the Jesus bike posting of a while back, that bike hasn't been quite the same since I moved it to Small Town, USA and mounted some drop bars on it and the kid mechanic in said small town got rid of (or ripped off?) my gold star bar end grips. What?! Here's to another year of writing and nostalgic photos of the best job I ever had. If the site goes on the endangered list again in the future I will reiterate my vote of years ago for the reinstatement of Kickstand until the book release party. Word. Cheers to you and the family, Mark!

howdy Cat, that punk mechanic is rocking those star grips on his bar bike and you may say to yourself this is not my beautiful bike you don't need drop bars on that thing you just got ahead of yourself and now you're catching up to yourself. enjoy the ride. keep your chin up. rise up. again. retro actively.
