I don’t read Hebrew, but I’m guessing the epitaph on great great grandpa Pilderwasser's tombstone reads something like: I did it my way so fuck you and I still won’t do what you tell me, life aint nothing but a good groove, bring it. Or something like that.
I've got a little schmaltz in me, but the family disowned great grandpa Pilder (Hirsh's son) when he married a Catholic girl...the rest is history.
