November rain

November 17, 2007

congratulations to Shu. He's taking off for a long open-ended bike tour of New Zealand.

When you look at the calendar here in Seattle, as November turns into December, we're in for another dark wet winter. But way down under in the Land of the Long White Cloud, spring is here and summer is on the way. I'm enviously wishing you a great trip.

and thankyou Shu, for the good word, and the feedback,  I do appreciate it. The illustration below, from kickstand #17 is reprinted here for you. Word.

One third of the year has passed. Ragbrai registration started 2 days ago. Only 240 days left. The countdown begins. It's 9 am we got a 18 pack of tall boys. Everyone left us... only 50 more miles. No problem lets drink. Have you been drinking son?

A soccer championship when I was 15. On a coin toss. We would have kicked those guys asses! They even told us the trophies for 2nd place weren't ready and they'd have to ship them to us...they never did.
