My shadow is always a step ahead of me and he knows what’s up. He’s the one holding the camera, he’s the one that seems to have things under control. He’s doesn’t have many questions but he seems to know the answers. He’s smooth. He’s steady. He doesn’t get rattled. He’s consistent. He’s a fixture and he exudes a quiet confidence that has a calming influence on others.
So I said, “my ears are cold, so cold, they’re hot” And my shadow said,
“if that’s your biggest problem, you’ve got nothing to worry about. It‘s clear and sunny and 35 degrees and you get paid to ride a bike around town. Relax.”
