December 27, 2007

What if every human's primary focus became the way in which she greeted the dawn, the moment, her every breath,,.and only then did she turn to face humanity's thorniest problems?

---David James Duncan

Thanks to Cat for the heads-up on the DJD article in the December issue of Conscious Choice magazine, excerpted from Duncan's section in a new anthology titled The Future of Nature

Good Morning.

Have you seen it yet? One of the best films ever made. I'll make the popcorn, you grab the root beer floats. Word to your taint.

Good moanin' to you too. happy saturday. Thick black coffee you could eat with a fork. Super dehydrated toast with land o lakes butter (what the fuck is up with the boob knee thing?) and crappy jam that is cleverly packaged as a cool travel mug. Except that the lid got chucked, and now it is just another cheap red wine mug tucked in with all the other random red wine mugs and jugs. Happy Saturday Mark. It is still Friday night here in 98119.

great timing to read this post, just today i spent an exorbitant amount of money copying sections of the overdue DJD book I'm reading. is that some sort of violation of copyright laws...? nah. it's fine.

Yo Velcrow, it's now Saturday in the 98122 and like you said, I've got a thick cup of black coffee in hand. That fuzzy Dark Crystal creature reminds me of the Pomeranian I grew up with, you'd probably kick his ass.

Hey Cat, I've found great, inexpensive, used DJD books on Powell's site, or Amazon. Really cheap, cheaper than making lots of photocopies, cheaper than the shipping you'll pay, but still cheap. and they smell and feel like books, as opposed to toner.

Hey, how can it be 8:45am in 98122 and only 8:11am in 98199? That makes no sense and a whole lot of sense. How does it feel to be just a bit ahead of time? It is no wonder that you are never late to work.
