Just in the 7.333 years that I’ve been a government worker I know of three guys that have retired and died a very short time later. And that’s something I don’t take lightly. Something I’m not talking shit about. One day circa 2008ish I showed that little ditty to another regular at the bar who happened to be a government worker, an IT guy at UW in fact. He took it personally and said it was insulting. His feedback stuck with me, but the ditty stayed the same.
