Electric assist is the camel ultra light of the moped world-motor pedal-it’s not a bicycle. It’s a motorized 2 wheel vehicle built on a triangle themed chassis. * cue they might be giants. While camel ultra lights look like bubble gum cigarettes they smoke just like studs. The carbon footprint is the same but it’s hard to see when you’re standing in it.
