Recumbent's are the fastest cycles out there, bro. Now, of course, the RIDER makes a difference (as does a huge aerodynamic windshield cowling), but, if I'm not mistaken, the speed records are all set on recumbents. No, I don't ride them; no, I don't like them. Huge douche factor, IMO. The worst are the ones where the rider wraps him/herself in some material (usually printed in patriotic colors) to cut down on drag.
