had to go with a 36" piece of allthread at the local home improvement store and why go half inch when you can go five eighths...Let me remind you that I've gained a tremendous amount of experience over the past year spinning nuts onto threaded rod and so maybe today was when all that nut spinning finally paid off. No joke. And after installing both headsets this afternoon, I'm not sure the copper pipe fitting really helped the cause and it was more expensive than all the other pieces of the diy puzzle
