ever since I worked at Perfect Wheels that summer after I went to UBI I have visions of spokes under tension failing at the elbow and launching like bottle rockets through the rim, sans rim strip, sans tube & tire, right into my attentive eye while I try to true the rusty shitty janky seized nipple wheel. The situation can be replicated or set up like a dramatization with some bolt cutters on a fully tensioned wheel.
