sometime around 1999 when cutting was with scissors and pasting was with glue sticks i cut out this unknown author’s stanza from a chapbook or something and pasted it into an issue of kickstand and now 20 years later that little scrap of paper and those words are still hanging around because i’m still seeing lions on the street
