PCC tried to get that store back in the day, when Albertsons was moving out and it became available. They got outbid by Metropolitan though. I don't know the specifics, but the plan was to move the View Ridge PCC down to that location next to the BGT.

my kid is all about the free cookie at the Albertsons that sits across the parking lot from where the original Albertsons was first erected where when I was a kid that Albertsons had a true soda ice cream milkshake bar in the back and joe was known for being an all around good guy that would go out of his way for you be cause it was his super market.
