what was that? is that all there is? who is this? this is it.

I like to take pictures of nouns. People, messengers, buildings, bikes, sculpture, crazy people and piles of empty beer cans. And then some of them make it to this site.

Kevin took some pictures of me like this fine shot below. Look at the two peds in full stride as if they were paid extras and me out of the saddle pretending to grind up Pike Street as if it's a real hill. You can view much more here I hope to repay him someday soon with some photos of my own.

the amazing thing about photos is the captured moment. the split second. one moment out of countless moments that’s made significant just because it’s captured. it’s a moment and then it’s gone but then, look, there’s another, and another. it’s the same as david byrne’s juxtaposition of same as it ever was and once in a lifetime. meaningful but then not. I like that juxtaposition. or maybe I’m just looking for an excuse to use the word juxtaposition. I like the word juxtaposition. cool photo, kevin.
