Why do some drivers with bikes on the rack still have no clue how to share the road with a cyclist? Maybe it’s because they drive their bikes to a bike path and ride around for 15 minutes, then put the bike back on the car and drive home.
I have a great deal of respect for cars from the 60’s and 70’s that are obviously being driven by the original owner. I will gladly share the road with these drivers because they’ve earned it and they don’t see me anyway.
I have no respect for Mini Coopers, Armored Trucks, German sedans full of frat boys and people who failed Driver’s Ed but their parents bought them a car so they’re driving. I respect the fact that they could easily kill me on my bike, but I do not respect them as drivers.
Matt Case's bike. It was racked, then it fell off and got wrecked.
