Yesterday during a pause in the action, a brief respite, a so-called coffee break, I was chilling with Cory on the backside of 999 enjoying a slice of pizza and a cold beverage. I was clear and going nowhere fast. He was headed south and getting dispatched more work.
When I think of a South run I think, 1201, 1191, 1000, 999, 1109, 801, 705, 811, 119, 216, 100 S. King, 401 2nd S., 705 5th S. Visualize each of those buildings and me delivering to at least one law firm in each.
But those KnR kids roll in a different world. Cory’s South run was 117 S. Holgate, 6100 East Marginal Way South and 4000 44th Avenue South. Can you feel that? That little loop was more miles than I ride in 3 days bouncing and yo-yoing in the core. I get grumpy when I go to 701 5th eight times in one day or Pier 70 four times or the courthouse five times. It’s a different world YO. YO.
