They wear funny shoes
They smell bad
They drink too much
and I think some of them are on drugs
They talk to themselves
They hear voices in their heads
They yell profanities at no one in particular
They ride bikes
They carry all their possessions in big bags
They’re always hanging out on the sidewalk
They’ve been known to urinate behind dumpsters
They line up for free food
They’re allover downtown
They make friends with seagulls and crows
They work all day for a pocket full of change and spend it on beer
