RAGBRAI XXXV starts this weekend...actually it started this afternoon when Dan got off work in Boston and started the trek West with the core of the crew.

My third consecutive annual busman‘s holiday . If you're looking for interactive route maps, information on the overnight towns, weather updates, wholesome family photos, a where's-Lance-report, blogs from pampered DesMoines Register staff or anything RAGBRAI you won't find it here. You can find all that crap there And then in a couple weeks you'll find the truth, the real story, the dirt...yeah, you'll get that here or here

Where's Iowa?

I'm drunk, I'm sunburned, I'm tired, I'm 20 miles from the bus. Flat roads, lots of corn, wind, sun, classic rock, country, cheap beer, cherry pie, rolling the big ring means more time in the beer garden.
