That's Brad and Skunk about 10 years ago with one of their first bikes. I got them from a kid at the school where I worked, I placed them in a backpack and rode my bike home that day, stopping a few times along the way to look at them. They've been around bikes their whole lives. Now when I grab the floor pump to top off my tires Skunk starts her shaky chattery cry. She doesn't like the hiss of high pressure tires when I pull the pump off the valve.

Today they're both professional hair farmers and utility cycling enthusiasts. They know how to fix a flat, how to swap out cartridge bottom brackets and how to lube the drive train. They leave the other stuff to me. They had an aluminum bike once. Then it was steel, all steel. Brad weighs 20 pounds and Skunk weighs in at 15 (Skunk is a girl) That's bulk, and I don't think they'd like to go for bike ride in my backpack now.
