I think I have one more issue of kickstand in me, I think I've had it in me for a long time but it has slowly leaked out into this website which a short time ago was not an option.But because of the multiple slow leaks, I haven't dumped out kickstand for almost a year. Start thinking about your poetry, haiku, photography, art and advertising for one more issue. This could be the last time. No really I mean it this time.
Speaking of advertising, one little "lifestyle sponsorship" check from large beer company or even a local brewery would pay for this website for two years or for a beautiful issue of kickstand. And I'm not talking about a lot of money here. I'm talking less than you'd pay for a quarter page ad in the Stranger or Weekly. Selling out? Whatever. Where do I sign? I've been ready to sell out for years. Bring it. I'll take sponsorship from anyone however I'd prefer to be "buying what they're selling" because I'd have trouble holding back if the money was all coming from a large right wing republican church group or a major automobile manufacturer. For some reason, beer keeps coming to mind. Beer crosses all kinds of party lines and can be non political non denominational non controversial. Beer it's what's for dinner. Tell all your big-wig beer company executive friends I'm seeking sponsorship, here and in kickstand.
