chicken pad thai

for you hardcore urban cyclists there is no "off-season". There is no down time, no lull, no ebb and flow, no hardly getting over it, hardly getting used to getting by...because you ride a bike everyday, all year, all the time. But for your local bike shop this is the lean time of year. When paying the rent takes on special meaning. Profit margins are always paper thin in the bike industry but nows the time to really support your local shop. If you're looking at this page, you already know this, but tell your friends or buy your local bike mechanic some beer and some Thai food and offer to take out the trash or sweep the floor or something. You know what I mean.

Pad Thai from Mae Phim and a sixer from the Pike Brewery. I don't know about Mae's but Charles and Rose Anne who own the Pike are kick ass folks who do most of their traveling on one of their tandems. I recommend the Porter when you want to take it to go, the Monk's Uncle or the Tandem if you fancy yourself a pint drinker.
