monday morning kicked off with a fresh urinal mint and it was all a blur into how can tuesday morning possibly top that when the jaywalker yelled "lawbreaker" as I rolled slowly through the street that he'd already crossed over into what will wednesday bring?

it's not really a linear progression

but they want you to think it is       because

clocks and calendars and the so-called passage of time

are all good for business

taking it one step at a time sometimes it's hard to remember the last job the dispatcher dispatched sometimes it's hard to remember what day it is, what day is it?

I thought you said you'd never forget.

I knew it was a building in the 1000 block so I checked the clients at 1000 2nd and then I hit the back side of 1001 and I found the pick. My hands were so cold, so to speak, it was in one ear and out the other, literally.
