Buenos Aires

February 20, 2007

I saw a sweet Lemond locked up outside the Buenos Aires Grill a couple hours ago and it just had a little coil lock on it and it probably retails for more than I make in two months.  This bike here is the Buenos Aires model, because Greg has a soft spot for the city,  and I think that's cool, but the bike I saw was a few notches above this one...it's a small world after all, it's a small small world

I like old steel Lemonds, I like Greg Lemond, and I was actually sitting next to the owner of that Lemond at the bar last night, he was wearing Chuck Taylors on those high end pedals...but I wish he was riding a Buenos Aires.

Bianchi studders when he gets excited. I think LeMond's Lance bashing just makes him look like a petty fool. There's as much evidence of Lance doping as there is of him doping. I'm not defending Lance here, I think they're both dopers, just dopers who were never caught. LeMond reminds me of Steve Largent, amazing when he's on the bike/football field, but then you hear him talk and you realize the talk can never live up to the idol.

As opposed to a hustler/racer type? ooooh....if looks could kill. $25. Still stands.

OK Mr. Case I agree...I like the Greg Lemond from the 80's with the wicked aero bars and the big ugly goggles and the recovery from a hunting accident and all that glory days shit. And like you said he should keep his mouth shut. Steve Largent is a right wing politician with good hands.
