word. I will cut and paste...and about 20 years ago I put that Peter Fonda speech sample sampled from the MudHoney sample on my answering machine when answering machines used little cassette tapes and when a professor called my apartment regarding an internship I was applying for, he was very disappointed in the recorded greeting. I did not get that internship and my career path took a turn onto a road less traveled and here I am today. word.

I had the first fifteen seconds of this on my answering machine with a little cassette tape. My mother thought I should change it. Still a very good song in my opinion. cheers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NfNaO1jEsM

The answering machine age was a time when you did what you said you were going to do and last minute text you because I found something better ADHD friendships didn't exist. Answering machines symbolized commitment like a ring on a finger or gave you the opportunity to ignore people until they got the hint.

yes. I think I'm still living with one foot in the answering machine age and the other one scuffing around tripping over things and stepping in dog shit in the "today"
